HIGH SCHOOL/NFHS Overall court dimensions: 60’ long by 30’ wide

COLLEGIATE/NCAA Overall court dimensions: 18m long by 9m wide

Always consider appropriate clearance requirements surrounding the entire court area.
Area above court the be clear of any obstructions and be at least 23' NFHS/USAV and 25' NCAA
Area around court the be clear of any obstructions and be a minimum 6' NFHS and 6'6" USAV/NCAA
 
Cables, which are used to retract a ceiling-suspended net system and located only on one side of the net, are ruled playable overhead obstructions in high school competition. (NFHS 2012)
 
Ceiling-suspended basketball equipment interference can play a substantial role in a volleyball referee's officiating calls, especially at the high school level. To optimize the design of your court space for volleyball competition, take into consideration the layout and configurations of all overhead equipment.
