The Powr-Hybrid: The Next Generation of Standard

At Porter we know not every sports facility is the same. Some are bigger, some are smaller, some will be used for a multitude of sports, some just a few. That’s why we want to always offer options that will fit you perfectly. Our most recent volleyball addition took into account what customers enjoy about current options.

By far our most popular volleyball standard is the Powr Carbon II. What makes this standard stand out is its lightweight. Each standard only weighs 19lbs. The next option we had was the Powr Line which weighs 45lbs each. This was a huge gap so we wanted to bridge that gap with a new standard. One that could offer the lightweight and strength of the Carbon, but also be an option that our financially savvy customers would appreciate.

The solution is the Powr Hybrid. Its design uses the strong carbon fiber material with an aluminum extruded telescoping height adjuster. It’s the perfect combination of both materials to keep the strength but bring down the weight. It now perfectly fills that weight gap as it’s almost half the weight of the Powr Line at only 26lbs per standard. It also offers easy setup and takedown making it the ideal system for all levels of competition.
